When deciding to go wireless, the primary reason for Wireless Instrumentation Program Manager Marc Bruel was to innovate Electrical Distribution applications. “The instrumentation used in these applications either required thin communication wires that were difficult and/or too costly to install or there was a great distance and/or physical obstacles that prevented a cable installation. Not only did “wireless” mean “less wire / cable replacement” to us, it also meant light and smart solutions when flexibility and mobility were required.”
