IRISBUS/IVECO are the European co-leader in buses and coach manufacturing. Together we have developed INTELLIBUS, a wireless diagnostics system. The system enables wireless download of diagnostic reports, statistics of operations and predictive diagnosis. All this giving a holistic view of the state of the vehicle.

ATM SpA, the Public Transport Company of the municipality of Milan are implementing the system.

Milan ATM SpA has estimated expected savings to 20% for maintenance costs and 60% for vehicle breakdowns in service thanks to the new solution.

We can’t drive a bus wirelessly yet (well we can but we’re not allowed to), but all in good time.
