The connectBlue Rugged Wireless LAN Ethernet Port Adapter (RWE241i) is especially well-suited for mobile, rotating and temporary installations where there is a need for replacing the Ethernet cable with a robust and maintenance-free wireless connection, or to connect to an Wireless LAN infrastructure. The device supports 802.11an for best connectivity and throughput using the 5GHz band. Further, the product is called “Intelligent antenna™” thanks to the ease of use and cost efficiency of the installation and configuration. The Wireless Ethernet Port Adapter is part of the connectBlue product range of Wireless Products in industrial housings and a version with 2.4GHz Wireless LAN 802.11bgn and a version with Bluetooth also exists.
