The Serial Port Adapter Accessory Kits connected to a PC gives you a quick introduction to the connectBlue Bluetooth and Wireless LAN Serial Port Modules. The kits give you an understanding of the wireless module's functionality, configuration options, performance etc. The kits include OEM Module Adapter, USB extension cable (USB kit only), 9-pin Dsub serial cable (RS232 kit only), power cable for USB port (RS232 kit only), CD with documentation and software. Note that no wireless module is included, so you need to order that separately. (The kit is not compatible with OWL221a, OWL222a, or OHCI406).

• The OEM Module Adapter either uses an RS232 interface via the COM port or a USB interface via virtual COM port. It provides LED for module status, Reset switch (USB adapter only), Restore switch and Function switch.
• The AT commands supported by the module may also be tested using a standard Hyper Terminal on PC.
• The kits may be used for firmware upgrades of the wireless module.

• The included configuration software for Windows is an easy to use tool for configuration of the module and start development of wireless applications.
