connectBlue offers customers complete customized Bluetooth solutions consisting of both hardware design and software development. connectBlue takes full responsibility for customers wireless functionality. Typical Engineering Services include the following:

Pre-study
Many implementation projects require an investigation before actually starting. The result from the pre-study defines the interface between the customer device and the wireless part along with project costs, product costs etc.

Specification
In this phase the wireless functions, hardware design, software functions etc. are specified in detail.

Implementation
Hardware design, where the PCB including Bluetooth hardware is designed, either as a separate board or integrated into the customers existing solution.

Software development, where all wireless function along with any additional functions are implemented.

Bluetooth Qualification
connectBlue co-operates with partners to provide Bluetooth Qualified, Type Approved and EMC-tested products to our customers.
 
Industrialization
During the industrialization phase the products are prepared for volume production.

Production
If the customer chooses, connectBlue can take manufacturing responsibility for the specific wireless part. Partners are utilised for the actual manufacturing, but connectBlue, of course, takes full responsibility for quality, deliveries etc.

Product Management
connectBlue has vast experience of product management, including error corrections, upgrades, cost optimization etc. during the products life cycle.
