PRESS RELEASE connectBlue™ Awarded EUR 350K Order from Schneider Electric

connectBlue, the innovative and market leading provider of wireless industrial solutions, today announced that it has received a new order from Schneider Electric, the global specialist in energy management. The order, valued at EUR 350K, encompasses the development of a Wireless Energy Efficiency System based on the IEEE 802.15.4 / ZigBee technology.

Since July 2008, connectBlue and Schneider Electric have worked together on various steps of the development system which is a Wireless Energy Efficiency System based on IEEE 802.15.4 / ZigBee technology. The total order value of the system is valued at €350,000.

The Wireless Energy Efficiency System is based on several of the connectBlue standard products and wireless technology platform. The range included consists of a selection of ZigBee sensor modules, gateways, repeaters, configuration tools and installation testing tools.
